I second the fact that when the tractor stops the birds fly and the animals run. They know how to survive. Coyotes eat a lot of voles and other pests that eat your crops so killing them might be counter productive.


It always amazes me how so many farmers despise coyotes. I shoot and even trap a few now and then for fun but I do not do it thinking that I'm doing any favors for farming. Even pheasants benefit from coyotes.
