In MS in order to get a concealed carry permit you have to go through a background check and get finger printed by the state police. Once you have that you just show it to the dealer and you can pretty much purchase any gun on the spot. Went into a local gun shop to buy a pistol. Handed him my ICC. He said, "This makes it a lot easier and simpler." He filled out some paperwork. I signed a document, paid him, and walked out with a pistol and a box of ammo.
Just bought a gun -- federal background check?
