You are using loosey goosey definitions of words.
Faith by definition first and foremost means just believing super natural forces which there is not evidence of.
Trust is place in another person and their claims but has to be backed up with evidence or you will no longer trust that person.
I trust what experts in a field say because they have studied it and others have confirmed and agree with the conclusions they have stated.
No need for faith and if they break my trust by saying things that are proven to be incorrect then I no longer trust them.
Priests are by definition religious people and depend on faith of others to hire them.
Religion is belief in a super natural being but would also cover Buhdism.
When we have no explanation for something we should all say 'I do not know'.
Faith will only let you feel you know something that you do not know and stop you from finding the answer.
