Sanilac Co. Michigan | Untrue, faith and trust are synonymous. One can easily have faith or trust in anything based on the evidence provided. Obviously, you have faith in the experts you turn to in order to explain that which you cannot explain yourself.
The only reason you embrace their evidence is because you believe it validates your own point of view. In a sense, those experts stand in as surrogate priests for your religion. I assure you, everybody has a religion, some thing or someone they place their faith in, something they can turn to in order to explain that which they have no explanation for. It's a paradox, but even those who claim they have no faith in anything have faith in that sentiment! | |
