. | Those in the big cities are so out of touch with rural life, it would be funny if not so pathetic.
I just read the regional newspaper published in the city of Eau Claire, population around 60,000 located less than 30 miles away. There was an Associated Press story titled Angry voters felt forgotten by elites and reading from Menomonie, WI. In the second paragraph it talks about a local woman who runs a clothing store in this "remote town". With a population of 16,000 located along Interstate 94 and less than 60 miles from Minneapolis & St. Paul this is hardly what I would consider a "remote area" | |
