My well used to be 30-50 pressure.

When they put in the new well a couple years ago, they talked me into a 40-60 pressure gauge 'like everyone else'.

My float waterer is downhill, so it might be seeing another 10-12 lbs of pressure over that.

Anyhow now it is leaky, it didn't used to be. Same Cobett waterer. Kind of like the original poster, it slowly overfills now, where it didn't before.

Would any sort of pressure reducing valve help me out? I've kind of gotten used to the higher pressure for other things around the farm.....

Sorry for tagging into someone else's problems, but seems to fit.
