NNW Nebraska | First of all ignore those stupid arrows. If you want the arrows to point the other way, get on the other side of the fence, or reprogram them.
OR Just ignore the arrows. Pay attention to the amps reading.
Surely you know where your fencer is on your fence from where you are testing.
What reading is low? Amps, or volts?
If you are a few feet from your fencer, how many amps are glowing?
If there is more than a few amps flowing, like 15 or 25 amps, you have a short beyond where you are testing. If there are no amps flowing and voltage is low, head closer to fencer.
If your ground is really dry, you may need to ad another wire to your fence that is hooked to the ground system your fencer is hooked to.
Put some grounds on that wire several places.
I have had a speedrite fencer go bad and act kind of like that, but you said you replaced the fencer, correct?
You are using wire, not plastic string?
