Dearfield Co.
My father was born and raised in TX . He also worked in the oil field in the late 30s and also after WW2. From the time I was old enough to take note he talked about the dangers in DFW due to quakes as well as all the maze of pipelines some of which he helped lay in the 40s. We discussed this fault in great depth and he was paranoid enough he hated it when relatives moved into the area. This was in the 60s and it was well known how the meers fault ran. I guess the earth quakes were first documented when fort sill was built in the 1860s . My uncle was a geologist that brought the Arbuckle mountains into this fault line thru some way which made DFW the hot spot in their eyes.
