That comment "I BET YOU CANT even BUY A BUSHEL OF SEED UNDER $40 anymore!!!!" reminded me that my first bags of seed corn from DeKalb cost $12 each and each one was a bushel. I planted with a 2 row planter that had a roll of wire with knots every 40". That allowed me to cultivate both directions, so when you got done cultivating you got to do it all over again perpendicular to what you had just done. |
