Subject: RE: Earthquake

North Central Texas
8th grade science trip was camping at Meers to lean about geology. The Meers fault has always been a very active spot. The quakes tend to have seasons that follow other increases of quakes throughout the world. Magnitude 5+ is not uncommon by any means and geologist have been telling us for years to expect an increase here for quite some time.

Loving county has a high incidence of quakes much like canadian. Loving is comprised mostly of shallow wells at 2-3000 feet. Much less that the deep gas wells hitting 5-8000 feet but the earthquakes still happen and at a depth much deeper then any drilling rig has ever turned.
