I can relate to all the prices reported already.
One high light for us was a new Pontiac 4 door in 1966 for $2700.00. that was much better that the new 1954 Chev.2-door for $1800.
The other bargain was a new 1975 Chev. pickup, air, 4-wheel drive, etc., for $5400, and paid for with price of corn in May 1975 of $3.10 @ bu.!
