23, got a big snow in maybe 84 ? Roof collapsed on the shed, banged the picker up pretty good. I remember walking along beside him, a long walk out to see the damages... Dad had finished picking his cotton, but was trying to scrape up some extra cash helping other farmers get their crop in.
He's a little older than me then, he doesn't like that old. Thought maybe he was closer to my age.
Here 84 was wet all fall. The worst since 73 and the next one almost as bad was 09. Been lots of wet ones but those were THE WET ONES. |
