Mark your calendars if you want to see a total eclipse as it happens across the US.
If you want to travel to see it you probably need reservations now to get   a room close at all.

This will be the first full eclipse over the US since 1979 and probably a once in a lifetime experience and when the sun is in full eclipse you will be able to see 4 planets and other stars not visible with the sun shinning.
