I've had the same issue a few years ago. I do not exactly remember the process but I do know that the part is available and it's not too bad of a job to fix. If I remember correctly you pop out the bottom seat cushion. All I remember from doing that job is when I got it done I had to ask myself why I didn't fix it sooner.
