Me too. A believer in personal responsibility that is.

Only difference between you and I is that I have also been personally responsible for those "hypothetical situations" that always happen to the other person. Until they don't. I also have a health directive that tells people in no uncertain terms to let me die as comfortably as possible in certain situations. Do you?

Having a health care directive is part of that personal responsibility thing you talk about.



he already has stated that he won't be responsible CMN. he has already stated that he squirreled away 100k and will accept medical care and then send them 100.00 a month to protect his assets while the rest of us sit down every month on the 1st Sunday and write a huge check to protect our health and assets.


The way I read it, he has more than 100K in assets, but can free up 100K readily, and will use it in full if needed. Past 100K, he plans to use whatever settlement plan the hospital can provide.
