Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | Sorry to hear about your wifes problems. That is exactly the reason I don't think I can go completely without insurance but I have to find a way to not have to pay $26,000/year in premiums either. In 30+ years my wife and I have never had more than maybe $3,000 to pay in medical bills in one year. Dental and vision has always been out of pocket. Just does not make sense to pay $26,000 knowing I would never come out on that UNLESS a major catastrophe would happen.
