Northern edge Mahnomen County | I traded my combine at the end of the season this year. When I was trying it out I called my grandfather to come and take a look at it. He will be 95 at Thanksgiving. He drove out to the field to look it over. He was standing at the ladder looking up at the cab and said " I don't know if I can make it up there, but I sure want to". He made the climb just fine. He was like a kid again, probably the same looks I had when I rode with him as a kid. 2 hoppers later a rain shower shut us down, otherwise I think he would've stayed in that combine all day. |
