What you term as modest might not actually be in the eyes of ACA-----------------Maybe its time for a job evaluation or more time on the website of ACA in your state. I can't comment on MN since I dont live there but I can safely state the only people I know in the 30-40% bracket all pay over $200000 in income tax Maybe a accountant might be beneficial to help you figure out your issue. I would guess that between my employees and myself I spent better than 40 hours trying to get mine to where it is now and no its not any cadillac plan its the basic to cover the catastrophe . I am not happy with my price increases since its inception but I didn't vote for any involved that wrote the stupid act.



Also are you talking insurance premiums on the house doubling ???? Maybe the area you live is prone to loss in both your house and property as well as health issues-------these are all things that figure in that I wouldn't be aware of
