| I'm 30. Starting at when I was 18, I stopped having insurance. When obamacare started, I didn't sign up that year, so I had to pay more taxes, which ended up to maybe half of what I would have paid in premiums. In other words, if you are hard working, making money, you will be fined more than it's worth. If you're a deadbeat with no job, I wouldn't get health insurance. Since obamacare, I started out at around $150/ month premium, the premium goes up every year, then I just raise the deductible more to keep the premium low. My deductible is $6000 now. I haven't been in the hospital since 14 years ago when I broke my hand. I'm trying to live as cheap as possible, pay little taxes by 179' ing things, might start bartering for stuff. If taxes and healthcare weren't so high, I would pay for more, but since deadbeets on welfare get to live for free, I'm not going to try as hard. | |
