S.E. Iowa
Back in the 70s 80s wife's uncle ran pretty much that exact operation. plus 800 head on feeder pig and 200 feeder calves, JD 4630 fwa 7700 combine 12 row planter. He ran the whole operation by himself with some part help during planting and harvest. The help was usually his wife son or daughters. Harvest was usually 2 one in the combine and one running 2 straight trucks dumping grain. Those days harvest wasn't complete until the ground was all turned black from tillage 6 bottom plow or offset disk , so their was always a high school boy willing to run a tractor doing that. So my answer would be one most of the time
