Folks in south Louisiana -- especially as you get closer to New Orleans -- are divided between Community and Cafe Du Monde. You still see that effect as you head north into Mississippi. We buy Community. Friends in the neighborhood -- he grew up in New Orleans -- only drink Cafe Du Monde. If you've eaten beignets in the French Market, it probably was at Cafe Du Monde.

It's been interesting to dabble with the coffees that you can brew with a Kerig. There's one Minnesota brand (can't remember the name) that we thought was particularly good.

The actor Hugh Jackman introduced a line of free-trade African blends/roasts that we particularly liked, although they're pricey enough that we save them for special occasions.

Honestly, though, I've run across very little coffee that I don't like.
