The UPS in Cass City ran all Chevy based trucks, other locations had all Ford Chassis. They kept a fresh rebuilt Chevy 6 cylinder plus a fresh rebuilt new process 4 speed in the repair bay. Some parts they just got from the parts store. This was in the late 70's and our tire store did all their tire work, strictly Michelins and Bandag Caps. A few of the 1 ton single wheel vans had a million plus on them and only retired when the frame finally gave way (not on the original motor, clutch or trans).
