Yes we run pro tracker on planter too.(Same tractor does both jobs) Hoping to go to pull type sidedress bar and use it there too. Can't give you a percentage of on strips on sharp curves. Only time it is really a issue is headlands. I will shut off implement guidance some times and manually steer it with scv while auto steer drives tractor.
Can tell you it works very well on steeper slopes going straight rows. Once you get away from tillage implement drift is greatly reduced cause soil has much more structure. I believe to steerable axle on pull type implements is probably the best but $$$
