A 2b Clipper is perfect for what you want to do. 99% of what you want cleaned out is the pods and it'll scalp them off about as fast as you can pour them on the screen. Bottom screen will take out dirt, fines and even some of the splits.

Or, you could put a .375 perforated screen in place of your adjustable sieve in the combine. Done right it'd be clean enough to run through a drill.
