If you are doing it your self cement is cheaper than the cost of the wood materials. Have you ever priced a wood deck for your house versus a cement deck. You could put in floor heat but first put in the insulation and tubes. The insulation makes a big difference. As far as your feet any time I have to stand in one spot Using a chair or stool really helps.
