ecmn | built an 8 row shank unit. run shanks 9" deep and can pull it with the 4640 deere in 5th gear. run it through the agleader integra and a pwm valve for the motor.
strip till corn solves a lot of issues we were having with no till corn for even stand type problems. I have stands as good as I did when I did tillage but at tremendous less investment. lot more efficient use of fertlizier.
at this point I don't see how anyone is going to be using conventional tillage in a couple years. | |
