My understanding from what the dealer told us what that we would have to have adaptors for each heads As I recall he said when installing the adator the driveshafts have to be repostioned I also believe he said the adaptor was $4,000 for the 1020 platform but he said we wouldn't be happy with the way the platform would work & we would be better off trading platforms.

ft, I quess I am confused, you say the 34xx heads will go right on the new style combines yet our dealer say that our 3412 head, which was order last summer and hasn't been built yet will need an adaptor for the new style feederhouses. I realize you own a 9120 with a prototype 16 row head and neighbors run a 2212 on their 8010 so I don't doubt you. However, I'm wondering if possibly that CIH is changing feederhouse designs? It was in December when we met with the dealership's manager & salesman.
