A couple cities so far have also outlawed wood burning period. They started with back yard debris burning then moved up to heating wood burning. You can still use pellets as far as I know, but fireplace, and wood stove burning is prohibited. If they come to your house to issue citation or warning, you either have to prove it is your only heat source, or that you qualify as a low income household to continue burning wood.
