NW Washington | I live in town and we have no lawn in our front yard. We have trees, scrubs and various perennial ornamental plants and grasses.
That said, I think a lawn might be simpler and easy to care for with all the pruning, trimming, weeding, mulching and deadheading that we have to do now. It does provide some screening from our not too tidy neighbor.
We have a small lawn in the back, which my wife mowed today. | |
