We just screwed the 26 gauge mettle to the bottom of our rafters on 9' centers. We used a lot of screws. The mettle alone was $951 for a 36x42. Labor was 600. $400 for 6" blown in on top of the metal screwed to the bottom of the rafters, and $100 labor for the blown insulation job. That sealing job comes to $1.36 a square foot. Jon
