We bought a zero turn mower with a 72" deck.  I cut grass at 7 to 8 mph.  What used to take all day takes a couple of hours.  Because the engine is behind you so is the heat and because I'm traveling 7 or 8 mph I have a breeze.

When I first got it I sent a video to my son and asked him if he could watch the video of me mowing(somebody else had trouble viewing it), he replied that he didn't see anybody mowing but he did see a green go cart.

It did put some fun back in mowing.

Maybe you could put down astroturf or blacktop and paint it green?  Maybe make a California yard, fill it with sand and gravel and a few rocks after you spray gallons of  Pramitol on first.
