Northern Illinois | Do any/some/most farmers drive without their drivers license? Between car and a couple of farm trucks it is sometimes a hassle or sometimes simply forget to grab my billfold. I know legally i am supposed to have my DL on me but that is not always practical. Also sometimes I hop in a truck to run to town and end up low on gas or need money. Now I always have my phone with me so here is what I am contemplating. Getting a wallet style phone carrier. They have a spot for credit cards and a place to stick a few $$. I would have that with me all the time so if I needed anything I could pay for it and just leave my wallet with DL and other cards in non farm car. Know it is not legal but searching it appears to be one of those that if I would need to I would just have to prove that I had a DL. Do you guys carry your wallet and DL with you all the time in all your vehicles? | |
