Well.... Yesterday morning, made the choice not to chase the market higher, but decided If we could buy cattle steady with where they had been costing I would take more, as the weather has been so nice I just feel like it's the perfect conditions for starting calves. It can turn off wet in a hurry here.
We have shifted gears a little, and have been buying smaller cattle as the prices haven't perked up as much as yearlings. The buy of the day was 7wt steer, unweaned calves for 110, got a load of them.
