Subject: Mine read the tenth less than the

North End I-15
Federal Crop adjustors unit . Part of that I attributed to the fact he was sitting on the back of my 4 wheeler wearing the antena pack on his back ,. My antena was mag mounted on the front corner of my 4 wheeler . Not enough varience to work about , Back when 0 tolerance was the rule it was a sticker . We used to pay to have it aerial measured.. The Garmin GPS Map76S is a good unit . don't really think the color (76SC) is worth the extra bucks . The S stands for sensors . C for color
The sensors are for altitude , Have checked mine on some USGS markers and is with in a couple of feet on elevation with the antena . With out it will vary more . The external antena is the key to accuracy . The better the antena the more accurate the unit will be.
Check out the Garmin web site. Lots of information there .
