North of London | We have fibre which gives us phone, internet and TV
TV portion of bill is just over $60 a month with a $5 discount since we have 3 services, net $56
A mostly basic package, can spend much more to add movies, sports etc.
That is for 1 box other TV's get a much smaller selection of mostly local stations but has had upwards of 40 total with some being US stations.
I only watch TV for news when we are eating and then Big Bang reruns if we linger after news.
I do watch CBC National news at 9pm (or whenever I happen to get here after that time) on the computer.
We took the old antennas down last year so if we cut the TV on fibre we would have to put up a new arial.
A lot of $$ for all I watch but others do use it some with a feed to a workshop our daughter uses.
They are gradually switching the TV channels to HD and then they are no longer available without a box which is more $$ for each TV.
Unsure where we are headed.
BTW we also have Apple TV which gets used some.
Think the one person watching NHL gets it through Apple TV.
Also I am not the younger generation just do not find much of interest to me,
