dont really understand how the void would be filled on the side wall with the 2x6 horiz? i think i would use bat type insulation on the sidewalls blown in cellulose type seems to settle over time. another thing you might want to do is get all your wiring and maybe some air line plumbing done before they get there i wish i got mine done before the interior steel was put on. never seen a shop with too many lights or recepticals put up twice more than you think you need and it'll be about right my 2 cents
