| Large squares of dust dry stalks are great. They fluff up nice, handle nice etc. If the stalks are less than perfect moisture wise, then rounds excel. I have a big square baler, but have had to hire rounds done because I couldn't get the moisture out. I had a customer get over eager about baling this fall and had a bunch heat up on him. I'd never by a big squares baler specifically to do stock, it just to expensive. However if you already own it or can hire it done and the stalks are super dry then by all means they are great. That of course assumes you have shed space for them. | |
