| I reside and farm parcels of land bordering a highway in Kansas which passes from Northeast to Southwest...........or from Southwest to Northeast, depending upon one's perspective and/or the time of year. So it is quite convenient for folks traveling from Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota in the direction of Phoenix.
This time of year, and again in the Spring, it's always fun and envy producing to watch the parade of snowbirds in the traffic.
Yesterday there was a large motorhome in the mix, towing a pickup, and in the bed of the pickup was a RazR. Made me think of our NATers who head for Havisu and send us back pictures of trail running, while the rest of us are dealing with snow.......
Hope he has a good winter.
There is always a flurry of snowbird traffic about this time of year....and another installment right after Thanksgiving. Around Easter, they are headed back the other way. Hope they stop to buy some fuel, and contribute to the highway tax fund.......lol showboat | |
