| I have run both also. My vote is for the deere. But just as another person said alot of it depends on dealer too. I run ford and new holland tractors because they are the best dealer in the area. We have a brand new cat 962m in the gravel bed as well as a 2001 744h deere with 11k hours with no major mechanical issues. I take the deere by choice it's smoother and cycle times are way faster. My vote deere after that rant. That deere 544 is a little more machine than the cat it28 if I remember the cat numbers right. | |
