M&A - 11/1/2016 22:13 My uncle passed away and I'm handling his estate. He was in the hospital for 29 days. Called and tried to negotiate they told me we don't do that. One of the Dr's was and out of network provider in an in network hospital. He was charged almost $3000 for that one Dr. and his health insurance only paid $200. I asked the billing department why and out of network provider was allowed to work on him and rack up these kind of bills and she said that it's the patient's responsibility to check to see if each Dr. is in network or not even when the hospital is in network. I told her he was not able to communicate and she said I'm sorry but it's still patient's responsibility. They will not negotiate. Amy
