Near-north Ontario, French River | Prohibited permits have nothing to do with 'first' or "second" class citizen, its simply a higher level of responsibility. Just about anyone can get a prohibited permit IF they take the proper safetly courses, and pass the back ground check. Not really a big deal if you ask me. Yes guns , especially hand guns, are somewhat more restricted here in Canada, but in some cases our laws mirror yours as well.. To label them asinine, is nothing more that political posturing. |
