I've had a couple bankers tell me this is getting as bad as the 80s but in different way. 80s was interest that got ya. Now its high priced inputs, crazy repair prices, prices of equipment, health insurance and family living. Your wife getting a $12 a hr job in town doesn't cover much anymore. We are just paying for it in a different way.
