Ain't no free lunch boys and girls. Although there may be as one poster said his group "paid out OR NEGOTIATED DOWN" x amount of money. Negotiating down means the rest of us pay for it just like propping up Medicare or paying for those that don't pay.



Uh, you do realize conventional insurance does the exact same thing? People that pay with cash do the same thing?


No their is no free lunch, they have thousands of members like myself that pay in every month, and never have a claim. We are collectively paying the bills of the few % that are having issues.


The sharing plan I am with if there is some catastrophic problem and they can't pay all their obligations at some point, they will pro-rate it and pay what they can. So if they come up 5% short some year (has never happened) they will pay 95% of the bills for that year. I can take that risk. Sure beats doubling and tripling Obamacare premiums. And I am not paying for abortions and sex-change operations.
