I had to put our old dog down a few weeks ago. I got him when I was still a bachelor, and he was my buddy for several years. Have gotten married in that same time, have 3 kids now. Life sure changed a lot in the 13 years I had him. It was like the end of a big part of my life. Not quite half my age, but well over a 1/3 of my life.
