Brake lines and fuel lines were routed outside the frame on the later models, I see nothing wrong with that, I've off roaded mine, rock crawled, mud, everything you can think of and never had issue.

Not familiar with CJ7's, mine is an 87 but similar. If indeed yours are routed inside the frame, I would reroute them outside the frame so you can monitor condition always, keep them clean, and know what you have.
