| It helps if you know when someone is retiring. You could contact some farm managers in your area and maybe set up a meeting, but realize they already have some tenants that they work with and will just make them bigger if they happen to get more land to manage. Still need to do a good job of farming and you will need a BS degree in today's world to rent land. Be prepared to pay big rent if you do get invited to bid on a tract. Not gonna be easy. Good luck.
