I get a kick out of these new appliances with their energy savings, they only last 5 to 7 years so what are you saving? I have a 1995 Kenmore that is still going with only a $110 service call, $10 relay and mileage included. Service guy said to hang onto it as new ones are junk. Sure it maybe is not energy efficient but I am not buying a new one every 7 years. Also have a 1954 Norge in the basement that keeps on ticking.
