Manitoba, Canada | The sad part is we created the system where we have to vote those %*^#*% into power. Anyone who tries to defend common sense can not get into a position with enough power to make a difference. The media turns the public against him.
Looking back in history every seemingly infallible empire fell and I would bet that those living at the time would never believe it could happen to them. I would bet that with time corruption tends to build up in societies until there is no way to go but down. Then some new entity comes along to finish them off, picks up the pieces, and starts the process all over again.
