The very best ride you will get out of it will be when the tracks are brand new. As the track grousers work harden it will get slightly worse. As they wear down it will get considerably worse.

If you drive a tractor with half height lugs and one with new belts, you will think you are driving completely different tractors.

Worn out belts ride horrible, most noticeably on hard surfaces. Not a problem in worked ground. A new set of belts is like getting a new tractor as far as ride is concerned.
