Southeast Florida | First citation was a TW-30 FORD for not having a SMV sign in Ft Myers FL in 1984 by young black female FDOT officer.
Several others over the years but the worst ticket was for running an 8960 JD w/ 30.5X32 duals pulling tandem pans in Jupiter FL. I didn't know we were breaking about 15 laws at one time but the most expensive ticket that day was escorting without proper endorsements on drivers license. That ticket alone was $5,000 fine and we got almost $15,000 worth that day at one time. Had to get certified check hand delivered before officer would release equipment.
We were cutting thru one of the high dollar neighborhoods with 15-20 tractors going to Stuart FL to level fields. The residents didn't like all of them tractors going thru their neighborhood and called the FDOT the second day. | |
